A 300 level student of the University of Port Harcourt has emerged winner of the centenary beauty pageant which was organized as part of the ongoing celebrations to mark the hundred years of the existence of Port Harcourt city.
A visibly elated Miss Theodora Kelechi Atako who defeated twenty nine other contestants at the contest which held on Friday night at the hotel presidential thanked the Rivers State government and the people of the state for creating a platform for young girls to showcase their beauty and talent.
The deputy governor of Rivers State Engineer Tele Ikuru who represented the governor at the occasion lauded the success of the occasion and said the Port Harcourt Centenary Queen will be used to enable young girls show case their beauty and talents.
