EMBATTLED ONELGA COUNCIL BOSS ASKS RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT TO OBEY COURT JUDGEMENT REINSTATING HIM.

The elected chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area in Rivers state, Austin Ahiamadu has called on Governor Nyesom Wike, the State Attorney General and the Rivers State Police Command to obey the judgement of the National Industrial Court in Yenegoa which reinstated him last week.

Austin Ahiamadu is the only remaining APC council chairman who was serving a tenure expected to elapse on the 8th of April 2016 until the ONELGA council was dissolved in December 2015 by the Rivers state House of Assembly on the request of Governor Wike.

While speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt, Mr Ahiamadu stated that since the Governor is a product of the courts he is bound to obey the order of the Court.
