This is as the management of BEDC Electricity Plc has appealed for calm and understanding from its customers over the disruption in power supply to their areas.
A statement from BEDC says the disruption in power supply is due to the “faulty power transformers which supply electricity to feeders in the affected areas”.
The company however said it is initiating a temporary measure to ameliorate the situation. “BEDC is connecting the affected areas to existing functional feeders to enable them to get supply pending when normal supply will resume after repairs of the faulty transformers”, the statement added.
