AHEAD OF 28th CONVOCATION CEREMONY,RSUST SAYS IT HAS DEVELOPED A FIVE YEAR BLUEPRINT TO REPOSITION THE INSTITUTION

The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Rivers state University of Science and Technology, Professor Blessing Didia has unveiled a five year blueprint aimed revamping the 28 year old state owned tertiary institution.

Speaking to newsmen during a press conference in Port Harcourt as the school prepares for its 28th convocation ceremony, Professor Didia said the new five year plan will focus on entrepreneurship and achieving financial independence for the institution.

Professor Didia added that with the recent National Universities Commission visit, the school now has 12 programs with full accreditation while 4 have interim programs.

RSUST will this Saturday, 9th of April graduate a total of 5067 students including higher and postgraduate degrees.
